BCU Risk Advisors, a specialist provider of risk management and insurance solutions to high net worth individuals, is announcing the opening of its Princeton, NJ office. In launching this office, BCU has hired industry veteran Wayne Salley as Managing Director to lead the firm’s Northeast expansion.

Jeffrey Cline - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Cline began his insurance career with the Aon Corporation in 1995. Having held several different management jobs, Mr. Cline left the company in 2007 as the President of Aon’s Private Risk Management division to head up BCU Risk Advisors. “The decision to leave Aon was very difficult given I was working alongside the brightest minds in the insurance brokerage industry,” says Cline. “However, I believe there to be tremendous opportunity to enhance the continuity of contact and level of service we provide our clients via a smaller and less diversified firm. That is why we formed a company exclusively dedicated to the risk management needs of this particular client segment.”

Prior to joining Aon, Mr. Cline was responsible for international business development for PET International, now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pillsbury Corporation. Mr. Cline was responsible for product development within Eastern Europe and the continent of Australia.

Mr. Cline is a graduate of Loyola University and holds a degree in English.

Bruce Billmeyer – Chief Marketing Officer

Mr. Billmeyer has been focusing on the high net worth segment since 1989, where he held the position of Vice President at Marsh & McLennan. In 1993, Mr. Billmeyer left Marsh and between 1993 – 2001, Mr. Billmeyer launched highly successful private risk management practices at both Near North and Mesirow Financial. Mr. Billmeyer joined Aon in 2001 as Vice President of National Sales for Aon Private Risk Management. Mr. Billmeyer is widely recognized as the nation’s top risk management consultant for the affluent.

Mr. Billmeyer is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Chicago and holds a degree in Business.

Bill Uniowski – Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Uniowski began his insurance career in 1974 with Royal Insurance. He spent 21 years with Prudential Insurance, where he advanced to Vice President of Property and Casualty operations, responsible for 500 employees and a $600 million operation, including claims, marketing, and underwriting. He joined Aon in 2001 as Senior Vice President of their Private Risk Management division wherein he was responsible for national operations which included offices in over 12 states. Mr. Uniowski holds the Society of Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) designation.

Mr. Uniowski is a graduate of Queens College, University of New York and holds a degree in Political Science.
